KUA Banjaran Holds “Clean Friday” Ahead of Regional Gathering of Marriage Registrars

Banjaran, Majalengka (25 July 2025) – In an effort to maintain a conducive and welcoming environment ahead of a major regional event, the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Banjaran conducted a Clean Friday activity on the morning of Friday, 25 July 2025. This initiative was organized as part of the preparations for the upcoming gathering of all marriage registrars (penghulu) across Majalengka Regency, which will take place at the KUA Banjaran Hall on Saturday, 26 July 2025.

Departing from the routine Friday morning activity of healthy walks, this week’s focus shifted toward internal housekeeping. All personnel of KUA Banjaran were actively involved in a coordinated clean-up operation. Responsibilities were distributed across several areas, including kitchen duty for meal preparation, restroom sanitation, and outdoor landscaping to remove overgrown grass and debris.

The collective effort demonstrated a strong spirit of teamwork and mutual support among the staff. The activity concluded with a communal meal, hosted as a gesture of gratitude by one of the staff members who had previously pledged to offer a meal in thanksgiving. The gathering also served as a moment of prayer for the Head of KUA Banjaran, who is currently undertaking the Marriage Registrar Competency Examination in Bogor as part of the process for rank promotion.
